Amazon announces more eBooks sold than printed booksAmazon – the UK’s largest book retailer has announced that it now sells more eBooks than printed books for the first time. They report that for every 100 printed book titles they sell, 114 eBooks for it’s e-reader ‘Kindle’ sells 114 titles. Amazon also claim that Kindle owners purchase 4 times more books after owning the device, than before.
